Thomas Borberg is a prominent photojournalism editor, educator, and visual storyteller affiliated with Politiken, Copenhagen. Starting as a staff photographer in 2000, he advanced to become Photo Editor-in-Chief (2009–2021), and currently serves again as staff photographer since 2021. He is deeply committed to nurturing emerging photographic talent—serving as an examiner at the Danish School of Photojournalism and guest lecturer at various international institutions.

Thomas has played a significant role in shaping visual storytelling through his leadership on juries for prestigious competitions such as World Press Photo (2016 Documentary & News jury; 2018 Sports jury – Chair). His contributions also include book editorial projects and international speaking engagements, including the Photo Editors Series organized by The VII Foundation.
Thomas was a guest lecturer for the Virtual Mentorship Program, where he shared his expertise and guided emerging photographers in their creative and professional development.
