SUMMARY:AFF Inauguration | Comptoir 1909
DESCRIPTION:In a scenography designed by Mohamed Beldjoudi\, this installation brings together “Constant Bloom” by Lucas Foglia\, “En Escena” — a project curated by Marta Soul through her platform Cómo ser Fotógrafa\, “La superficie del tiempo” by Ana Amado\, and a site-specific intervention by Julia Llerena. Foglia follows the migration of the Painted Lady butterfly across continents\, drawing a poetic parallel between ecological and human movement. “En Escena” celebrates the creativity of women photographers from Spain and Latin America\, offering new perspectives on representation and identity. Amado’s “La superficie del tiempo”\, projected on a large scale\, explores the layers of colonial architecture in Grand-Bassam\, where time and memory intertwine. Llerena contributes twenty delicate works made from mosquito netting\, transforming everyday materials into abstract constellations that speak of protection\, fragility\, and the invisible connections between past and present.
